A rant about the fitness industry 

All diets are controlled eating disorders, The majority of successful dieters have out-of-control eating disorders.

There is a huge body of evidence that says that most dieters will regain weight within 3 years of dieting. It makes sense that successful dieters, are in the minority and therefore are more likely to be a little bit mental. 

⚠️ 

“Fanatical is what the weak call the dedicated.” And all that.

When someone says to you ‘I think you’re getting a little bit fanatical with your diet.’ You’re probably on the right path to lean body mass. However, this does not mean you’re on the path to optimal health. 


Can you pull it back? Have you gone a bit mental? if so are you ok with that?

There is no stigma attached to a six-pack, it’s literally worshipped in our Society, and even images of Jesus have some sick abs.

However next time you see a dude with really low body fat ask him how his 🍆 is and watch him blush. ☺️ 

When you see a super lean girl ask her when your last period was… If your body isn’t working its basic functions you are NOT healthy! 


Fat Personal Trainer? 

First up I have fat… I’m not fat. I have fingernails but I’m not fingernails. I don’t associate my persona with my body fat percentage, and neither should you. I’m super happy to sit in the healthy body fat range, after years of being obese. 


I’ve been dick skin shredded. Veins on my lower abs, as a fat kid this was all I wanted was to look like a superhero. 

This transformation made me happy, but it wasn’t how I looked. Confidence didn’t come from how I looked, It came from what I could do.

If you are choosing your personal trainer based on their body, you are looking for a stripper, not a coach. 👊 The fitness industry today is full of fucking bullshit.

Your stars/influencers are on drugs, Photoshopped, riddled with anxiety, hypogonadal, wrecked with chronic injuries, body insecurities, and eating disorders. Every last fucking one of them. 

😡 

Dry scooping 4 hits of pre-workout just to do some chest flies. If it takes you 9 paleo coffees to get through your workout… it’s not functional! 

🤔 

The problem with the fitness industry is YOU. You believe this bullshit, worshipping fake idols like gods. 🐍


You are NOT excited about a sustainable healthy body. So there’s no money in it. 🚫💰🚫

‘Sustainable healthy body’ doesn’t sell anywhere near as well as rapid fat loss transformation. 6-week burn. Summer shred. -You understand that this is just marketing, not actually fitness? They make you feel like shit and then sell you a solution, that doesn’t work, It’s just adding to your body image issues. 


Workout like crazy for 4+ weeks, lose a few pounds then burn out…eat like crazy… gain back 6 pounds. Ready to start again. This Isn’t any different from sticking Mr pukie down your throat after you have eaten too many chocolate bars🤮 One of these is an eating disorder the other is the ‘fitness industry.’


You are in a constant binge, purge cycle because of diet culture, you have zero understanding of how metabolism works. Who’s meant to help you? 20 something -year-old PTs? This bunch of Roid boys. These are the same stupid fucks that have the perfect program for busy mums… Fuck off and help your own mum with your dishes once in a while, move out and get a job in corporate finance as you are clearly more interested in money than actually helping people. 


If you think that’s aimed at you and the shoe fits feel free to wear it. If you are a 20-something-year-old PT crushing it! Then keep crushing it! The industry needs more good people. Should you get paid? Dam right you should, you are providing the single most important thing a modern human can have… HEALTH. 


But if you are perpetuating the toxic health culture, you should have a long hard think while you wear those shoes.

🫵🏽You are not happy with your current body because you’re following false idols that are making you feel like shit. Furthermore, it is taking your attention from what’s real… Real food, real function, real movement, real nutrition, real life. The really important stuff.  But don’t worry Soon we’ll all be Enjoying our government-regulated fake meat burger with a side of limited edition flavoured ‘health’ goo…  promoted by your favourite fake natty. 


We live in a world where now that if you eat some vegetables people ask you what diet you’re on. ‘It’s called food Sally.’ It’s just food.


Health isn’t cool, it seems not a single person or coach seems to have a clear definition of what health is Or what to track. 


Health = Visible abs right?!? 

Fuck no. 

I would rather have a working 🍆 than a six-pack. Lad with the six-pack in the back still blushing… How cute ☺️ don’t worry dude there’s a pill for that just make sure you can take it along with tren, deca and Winstrol combo you’ve been injecting into your ass. 


Yes, body fat % is important for health….. but it’s not the only thing or the most important. 


There are other stats that are important for health, as you work on these you’ll find your body fat will shift to health levels. 


✅HRV

✅RHR 

✅Zone 2 watts

✅Strength standards 

✅HRR

✅Feeling good

✅Social connection

✅Metabolic flexibility 

✅Lung capacity 

✅Inhale and exhale strength 

✅Lean mass 

✅vo2 max

✅not being an absolute cunt


These are all super easy to get great results with. If you don’t know what any of these things are, I’m here to help, teach and educate you. Not ridicule or judge you. That’s what a Coach does. 


Most people just need to start, just get a bit healthier, and feel a little bit better about themselves. Find out how their metabolism works. This toxic fitness fake health culture puts more people off than it helps. 

It’s why I offer a private 1:1 gym and 1:1 online coaching. Because I know that the first step is scary as hell and the road is difficult to navigate. 


But being a guy that’s physically and mentally transformed, all I can say is Health feels fucking awesome!
